Improve Diagnostic information when Desktop app freezes

In a scenario (currently ongoing) where you are connected to a live Power BI dataset and the desktop application locks up, no discernable diagnostic information or reason can be identified. The instance of Power BI becomes unresponsive and must be exited via Task Manager no debug information is generated.


Support has up to this point been unable to identify a cause.
