Improve Bookmarks to allow multiple edit or import from JSON file or another page

Would be great copy or export/import multiples bookmarks from one page to another. If we have mulples pages and need bookmarks to allow quicly navigate to slicers. And if needs create one new page is necessary create manually all bookmarks even if it´s a page duplicate needs create all new bookmarks for each new page again.

  • Hi, Bookmarks do not "belong" to pages. What you are referring to sounds like copying bookmarks, but changing internal page references. Can you provide some clarity on exactly what properties of the bookmarks you want to keep, and which to change? For instance, creating a copy of bookmark A, called Bookmark B: Bookmark A sets the page filter of page A to some state, and we want Bookmark B to set the same state, but for Page B. Thanks
  • Hi, Yes, I'd like copy bookmarks, but changing internal page references. I have some slicers in top of page A and a lot bookmarks with varios combinations working great, now I´ve copied page A to B and replaced measure from quantity to cost and I´d like navegate in slicers im page B and needs to create all bookmarks again in page B. This bookmarks are used for slide apresentetion without export to Powerpoint. Maybe one option to duplicate bookmarks and I would be only refresh each one by one after change page to B. Thanks
  • I'd like to add onto this, would it be possible to copy bookmarks from one model to another? Scenario is: I am taking a current model that is bookmark driven for navigational purposes, this model is connects to a SQL DB via a Gateway. I am now wanting to convert this model to rather use Power Bi Datasets. One cannot just change the data source, so I have created a new model, connected it the PBI dataset copied over my reports but the related bookmarks cannot be copied / exported. Recreating these bookmarks is can be a lenghty process depending how many reports and bookmark functionality one uses. Thanks, Jonathan
