Improve Bookmarks to allow multiple edit or import from JSON file or another page

I'd like to add onto this, would it be possible to copy bookmarks from one model to another? Scenario is: I am taking a current model that is bookmark driven for navigational purposes, this model is connects to a SQL DB via a Gateway. I am now wanting to convert this model to rather use Power Bi Datasets. One cannot just change the data source, so I have created a new model, connected it the PBI dataset copied over my reports but the related bookmarks cannot be copied / exported. Recreating these bookmarks is can be a lenghty process depending how many reports and bookmark functionality one uses. Thanks, Jonathan
