Import data types from Sharepoint List

When importing data from a SharePoint list (tested on SharePoint Online), all imported columns are by default text. To avoid the time-consuming task of formatting every column like it is already defined in the SharePoint List, could it be possible to do this automatically (or even as an option) ? Quick remark, this feature is not exclusive to SharePoint list and could be considered for every data sources.
