IST (Indian Standard Time) Time Zone in Fabric platform

Dear Fabric Platform Team,

I would like to suggest an important feature enhancement for Microsoft Fabric—support for the IST (Indian Standard Time) time zone. Currently, Fabric only supports UTC, which creates challenges for organizations operating in different time zones, particularly those based in IST.

Many businesses, including my client (CSP and Billing Partner), are headquartered in IST, yet they are unable to configure this time zone within Fabric. This results in scheduling and reporting inconsistencies, impacting operational efficiency.

To improve usability for global users, I propose that Microsoft Fabric include support for IST and other regional time zones in upcoming releases. This addition will enhance data accuracy, ensure seamless synchronization, and align Fabric with the needs of international businesses.
