Hide filters for shared Reports or prevent user from changing filters.

In a shared report the user can see and manipulate filters. How about an option to hide the filter options and so make change of filters (to probably see more data) impossible?

I like the filter pane but would like to select whether individual filters I've added to my report are visible in reading mode. Sometimes I want someone to be able to amend a particular report/page level filter, sometimes I do not.

How has this not been thought of? Honestly this feature is a must have for Power BI and the Report Server. RN I have to re-create a report 15 times just for one feature missing. Come on Microsoft, please.

I find it as one of the greatest "flaws" where the report author cannot control the visibility of the filters. RLS over excel is still complicated to master and a simple "show/hide report filters" option would be much useful for average user. thank you.

It is one of the basic requirements that keeping knocking again and again. Of course, it is very much required!

It isn't perfect, but in a lot of cases you can achieve this with a combination of Sync-Slicers and Hidden pages. Put the locked filter as a slicer on a separate 'HiddenFilters' page, sync to the relevant report page, but hide the 'HiddenFilters' page. AFAIK, this doesn't give the users any way to adjust the filter.

Please add this filter. The people who consume our reports are not always analysts who are used to seeing what is behind the scene. I need to be able to hide some filters and show others (don't put this a 'all or nothing' feature)
