I think it is essential to have report level filters available in the dashboard.

I'd like to see a option to set each visual filter as global.

Some of the most important reports I have are heavy on visuals. Mobile is the best platform to consume these reports in the form of dashboards. But just pinning the entire page to dashboard is not ideal when viewing the visual heavy dashboard on a small screen of a phone and adding multiple visual with different filters already applied makes the dashboard cluttered and too long. There being able to just pin slicer/filter would be the single big improvement in pushing further adoption of Power BI in my company.

Just downloaded a trial for Power BI. Lots that is promising. But man ... two things already that are terrible. No 'selectors/ filters' for the dashboard view. People want INTERACTIVE data of course. Most every other BI tool in the market has this function - how did you miss it? Also -- the date range selectors are sloppy. Add a calendar widget - start date, end date. This is common sense 101. I'm not sure, but these very well may be deal-breakers for going all-in/ paying for this tool. It's like you built a Cadillac but took out the steering wheel --- makes no sense.

Dashboard slicers are absolutely essential to make dashboard responsive and usable. As they are now, they are like fixed images disconnected from the report that is dynamical. I think this issue is connected to the fact that visual filter are page-only filters and do not act at report level: this also needs to be fixed.

Critical feature for multi-page reports that expect the users to drill down. In my design I would replicate the visible slicers on every page to give the user feedback about current state, but I still need to carry the state across pages. I'm used to this functionality from both Click and Tableau. Current functionality restricts me to a single page for every "story" / user fitlering discovery interaction.

Just adding a "me too" -- I mean, did you actually have real business users actually using the tool -- I mean for business decisions, not just cooing at the pretty colors. "Here are this months KPIs" ... "Cool, what were last months KPIs?" .... "uh.... well if you individually click each one of these tiles, and slide the clumsy date selector around for each and every one, you might start to get a few pieces of the picture."
