Another MUST have feature! Good to know it is planned but would be great to know more details when this is going to be available. "feedback in a couple of months" is too vague and does not allow us to do any planning.

Really needed, would make life much easier. For starts it should allow filter multiple reports from the same source but then in the future if you have sales report and operative report with same organization hierarchies you should be able to filters those..

The omission of Filters on a Dashboard is very limiting and certainly hinders our take up of this application. We are relatively new to PowerBI, and so far have built filters into the reports especially when using Analysis Services as a source. It allows a single set of tiles to be developed which can be reused. The use of Filters means that we can base an entire report off several different aspects of the business. Often the tiles are grouped into a single report because they are supportive information needed as a collective. e.g. across a specific timeframe. Our managers also favour the use of Dashboards via mobile devices, but the lack of filter means that we have no way to re-target the filter for a report into a Dashboard. Although it is possible to drill into each tile and fire a single filter we have also noticed that the report filters do not always map upwards to the Dashboard as expected. It would be nice to be able to define a report entirely into a Dashboard including report filters

It would be nice to be able to control the filter by the REST API, too. Here is our use case. Our app has > 1 "tenants", each of whom wants to see his/her own slice of data across a dashboard comprised of many report pins. When such a tenant clicks the "dashboard" button in our app, we'd like to launch PBI with the appropriate filters set as expected by the tenant. There are no cross-tenant data visibility restrictions, so if tenant X wants to see tenant Y's data slice, that's fine. But most of our users are not PBI savvy, so we want to launch their dashboard set the way they will expect (see my own data slice), Finally, each tenant is >= 1 AAD user.

Please consider also if one could make the filters default to certain values for specific users. For example, one user would like to see by default a slice of the data when he logs in, other would follow suit. Also, is there a way for the filters to remember the last value selected? That could definitely help with selection persistence in between sessions. Thank you, John

Could be great if we can previously select some values for our filter before moving on the dashboard. I have a lot of different values in one of my field which will be my filter, but I don't want all I just want 4 or 5 of those. In the other hand, I did not find an option to select multiple values when I use the filter icon. thanks.

This is absolutely a must-have feature. Live-filtering on a live dashboard is extremely useful.

Hello, Just wanted to share my experience with slicers on dashboards. I have successfully added slicers to a dashboard by simply pinning the entire report using, "Pin Live Page". But this doesn't resolve my mobile app rendering of my dashboard. Pinning the tiles individually is more aesthetically appealing when viewing on my phone, but no slicers. good luck!
