Global filter in dashboards

Allow me to pin a filter to the dashboard that can be associated with one or more pinned dashboard KPIs.

Agreed, we need this feature to be more flexible and usable on the mobile application. The idea is great, but it doesn't work as hoped.

Thanks for the December 14th update. However, after testing this I was disappointed to discover it is not supported through the mobile application. I'm I missing something? The 'report' dashboard tile is not visible through the mobile app.

We have tried the visuals interactions options but what we need to make it better something like a cascading filters. These cascading filters should be persistent even when i click on other chart/visual - so that it give me a drill through multiple dimensions to implement a specific set of conditions. The chart should show a green/red/grey dot on top to indicate that the filter is on/off/inactive. Also the title of the chart should indicate the selected slice.

It would be great to be able to have the filter option available for pinning onto a dashboard.

It would be great if I could pin a slicer from a report to a dashboard to make it dynamic. As it is now, I need to pin the whole report as an "active window" to make the dashboard dynamic.

This has definitely been addressed before in other threads, but as it's gone several months without being added to the work flow yet; I wanted to draw attention to it once more. Global filters being pinnable cards to the dashboard working online and in mobile is essential to adoption of Power BI for our company. Has this gone beyond the planning stage? Thanks! ~Paul

I've been using Power BI since October 2015 and think the possibilities for this tool are truly incredible. Any update on global filters for dashboards? It's been planned, but is it in process yet? This is the main piece that is really holding back our ability to adopt Power BI in a larger sense.
