Hello Microsoft Team,
I’d like to suggest an enhancement to the shortcut creation interface in OneLake, specifically when selecting files or tables during shortcut setup.
Currently, navigating through the list of tables under particular Lakehouse or other directories can be time-consuming—especially when dealing with a large number of datasets. It becomes difficult to locate a specific file or table quickly.
Suggestion:
Introducing a search bar at the top of this interface would greatly improve user experience. It would allow users to quickly filter and select the appropriate table or file by typing a name or partial match, rather than scrolling manually through the entire list.
This simple addition would enhance efficiency, save time, and improve the overall usability of the shortcut creation process.
Thank you for considering this feedback!
Best regards,
Kiran Pedakotla
