Fabric Mirroring does not expose an explicit “initial replication completed” flag or event.
Fabric does NOT provide
There is currently no:
- “Initial snapshot completed” status
- Boolean flag or milestone
- UI badge changing from Initializing → Completed
- Event surfaced in the Mirrored Database UI
- Metadata column showing snapshot phase
Once mirroring starts, everything is simply “Running” forever.
This is by design in the current Fabric Mirroring implementation.
There is no system table, DMV, or metadata table inside the mirrored database that exposes replication status, snapshot completion date, or replication phase.
This is a current limitation of Microsoft Fabric Mirroring.
Request you to resolve at the earliest.
