Shared datasets is a very powerful tool that we are beginning to use in our organization. We want our users to leverage a shared dataset as much as possible when building their reports. However, if the user wants to add an entity or two to the data model, they can only do that by requesting it to be added to the base model. I propose a feature where a user could "extend" an existing data model from a shared dataset that would only impact their version, or view of the model, leaving the original model intact and unchanged.

- Much needed !! That would dramatically improve self-service on business side while keeping consistency brought by IT side
- This is the most wanted feature in order to have one big master shared dataset to be re-usable for others who just need to add one or two tables for their localize use.
