Export charts directly to excel

It would be very useful if Power BI allow to export charts directly to excel without lose the format. Exporting just like values with format.

This feature is very much required and definitely one of the very basic requirements to be missed. Please let us know when this feature will be available. Thanks!

Matrix data is exported to excel in tabular format. It is a lot of rework to again pivot it in excel. We want a visual matrix to be exported to excel as a matrix/cross tab. same is for charts. we dont want just the underlying data. When exporting to excel from Powerbi Service, we want it to be exported as-is with all the visuals. So many posts on this topic and no answers so far.

Could not explain to the sponsor that we cannot export report's view in Excel. Users do not have to rebuild the report in Excel ! This is so critical for business users, thanks.

Our company strongly demands this function.

Yes, nobody wants to rebuild the tables from scratch with csv in excel. There should be a new option: export table as shown or export current view

The ability to copy a formatted table / matrix and paste as a editable table into other applications (Excel being the obvious) is necessary to quickly share insights. More complex visuals could be pasted as an image in order to maintain a consistent UI.

Agree that exporting data as displayed would be very useful and a time saver.

Yes, what Laura Horjea said, "An option to export data from table/ matrix visuals as displayed would definitely be very useful. Quite surprised this bit of functionality doesn't already exist."

Same for us- We want to purchase licenses for 150 pro users, but until the matrix can be downloaded to Excel, the users will not accept Power BI as a solution. Please advise as to release date for this. We would also like to be able to influence the download in other ways- such as autoformatting column width, including subtotals as shown in Power BI, etc. Other non Microsoft BI reporting tools have the capability to do all of these things. How can a Microsoft BI to Microsoft Excel not have this functionality? We can not roll the tool out and buy licenses until this is resolved. Please advise on release date for Pro Services. Thanks.

This is very necessary for our company. We will not be able to proceed with Power BI without this function.
