Export Report Server Power BI report to PDF

Please add the capability to export Report Server PowerBI reports to formats like pdf, word, powerpoint. Some of this functionality exists in the service but please add it to Report Server.

We're looking for sharing features to be available to non-designers. That report consumers/viewers can use them when embedded, using any of the embed methods. For example, enabling RDL is most useful (for us) when this can be shared outside the power bi app and the power bi service. In the same light, export to PDF is most useful when its embedded, ie beyond Power BI app and beyond Power BI service.

Hi, in the post on your blog you didn't mention anything about any restrictions for Live Connection to Analysis Services. why?! We use cubes! and why we can (can't in our case) subscribe our clients - people outside our company, who don't have power bi pro license. We were looking so long for this feature. And now it is totally useless for us

Can we be able to select tabs within a report that we want to export to PDF. May not want to export all tabs of a report to PDF.

We and Our customers are looking for 'Export to PDF' feature like SSRS in Power BI Report Server. Any update on in which release Microsoft will include this feature? Appreciate your help. Regards, Prashant A.

We have a number of PowerBI reports with several tabs that we need to be able to print to PDF from the browser. We'd like the functionality to be comparable to that in the service where we can click "export to pdf" and all pages are printed to a PDF, without our users having to print each page individually. The admin comment from 5/17/2018 indicated that this was planned - what is the status on it? How soon will this be available?

As an alternative, try a third party tool like PBRS by ChristianSteven Software. It allows you to schedule and automate the export and delivery of Power BI & SSRS reports to pdf, excel, word, powerpoint and so on. You can send them to email, disk, SharePoint, Dropbox, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Drive, FTP etc.
