This feature is simply unreliable in its current state. I press Export and I get what... a random portion of the data my table shows me? How am I supposed to use a portion of the dataset, without a full knowledge of what it actually contains?

Since there are a little over 40,000 zip codes in the US, the limitation of exporting only 30,000 records means that you can't export data that has been aggregated at the zip code level (which MANY business people do). This is a severe limitation. This export idea has not been "completed".

I can't export enough of the data. Only works for small datasets. Boo!!!

Who saw 60,000 records? I am trying to export right now and am getting only 6,000 records (or 370 rows). Worthless! Lance, PLEASE (at the very least) re-open this and bump that number up to something usable (>1MM).

This isn't good enough -- we need the excel file to be in the exact same format as what is on the report

It is embarrassing to have discovered that you can't accurately export data from PowerBI (desktop or web) whether the columns are inaccurate for putting 1899 in the year, or limiting the number of records. It's hard to see this issue open with so many votes and no real solution on the horizon.

We are really grateful for the ability to export to CSV. Our users often need exports that they can manipulate in Excel. However, they also often need highly detailed data, which means we can't use Power BI because of the 30,000 row limit. We often need exports that are several hundred thousand rows. Please consider removing the row limit or extending it to Excel's million row limit.

If you go to the Power BI Ideas link at the top of the page and then type in "export limit" or something similar in the rectangular field at the top of the page where it says "Enter your idea", you'll find some where you can vote to have the limit increased (or removed).

Please, increase the limitation of 30.000 rows first of all ..I would say at least 100.000 rows .. This is a big limitation in every company and kind of business! Also an export in excel could beuseful (the manual conversion from csv to Excel is obsolete).

How is possible to close this issue if it is impossible to export as xls? Incredible....
