Even though stages are a widely used gauge component to visualize sections of data, report creators had to rely on custom visuals despite vast limitations of functionality. Moving forward, it needs to become fast and easy for report creators to add static, dynamic, or combined stages or thresholds, and also include some enhanced shape format settings for even greater customization.

Thresholds great for fast indication for viewers understand if near the goal or not. I would use green, orange and red as thresholds colors
