Report creators often prefer slicers over filters because of their advanced functionalities such as visual interaction, syncing filtering across pages, and grouping advanced options because filters lack these capabilities, making them less user-friendly and less efficient. Filters and slicers should be synchronized at the visual, page, and report level, to give the same capabilities and manageable in a single view, eliminating the gap between the two and ensuring displayed information is correct.
