Epic idea: Numeric filter

To address the need for a more user-friendly filter experience, as expressed by many report creators, a new numeric filter should be developed that would offer greater control over numeric selections, complete with multiple selection types, menu options, tooltip support, formatting settings, and a variety of slider styles.
