Developing new layout options in the Matrix visual, similar to Excel’s pivot table, would help report creators get past the limitations of existing tabular structures and eliminate the dilemma they face when choosing between a table and a matrix. This could effectively combine the best features of both visuals, and lead to a more efficient and frustration-free report creation process.
