Epic idea: Improved page management

It is not uncommon to end up with reports that have more than 40 pages, so it would be a great idea to introduce a single tab to store multiple tooltip pages. This innovative approach addresses the issue of clutter and streamlines the process, making it more efficient and user-friendly, eliminating the need for report creators to generate numerous individual pages.

Currently, tab (page) management in Power BI Desktop is limited. In projects with many reports, moving between pages can be cumbersome. It would be very useful to have tab management similar to PowerPoint or Excel, with features such as: Grouping pages into sections. More intuitive reordering. Assigning colors or labels to identify report types. Hiding/showing pages based on user profiles. Smoother navigation between tabs, like a “slide view.” This would allow teams to work with more complex models in an organized way and improve the experience for both developers and end users. I invite the community to vote for this proposal if you find it valuable.

What I'd want in a page manager: * Tile view of all pages * Page title, thumbnail of page, and status icons * Status icons include: ⚠ Has broken visuals, is tooltip, is drill target, has visual calcs, has sync slicers. * Hovering over a tooltip page highlights the pages that use it. * Hovering over a model item (table, field, measure, etc.) highlights the pages that use it. * Section pages: These indicate all pages after it are in the same section, until a new section page. Section pages have an action to select all pages in the section. Section pages can have different default formatting in the page list in Service. * Freely select and re-order pages. * Copy pages (Before current, after current, at start, at end, at start or end of section) * Copy pages to another open workbook (plus pre-flight to check for missing measures, etc.) Bonus: * If model items can be marked for future removal, a status icon to show where pages are still using these items.
