Epic idea: Better sort and filter tabular experiences

Matrix visuals could significantly enhance the user experience by emulating Excel's intuitive sorting, searching, and filtering capabilities, even for hierarchical columns. This idea would the current limitation in Power BI's matrix visuals, which lack a comparable experience to Excel's established standard for data manipulation.

It's been 6 years, how is this still not an option? It seems relatively simple since we can already sort on one or more columns, why not have an option to disable sorting also? Thank you!

The lack of this feature is acting as a blocker for my team to create publicly accessible Power BI reports.

It is not feasible or reliable to add placeholder objects over every visual.

We should be able to control this via the report theme so the entire report or sets of visualisation types can be managed in a single place.

Please add the capability to disable table column header sorting in Power BI dashboard.

We do need filters on grid.

I'd say it's the most important feature needed.

Grids are very important in real world to avoid export to Excel and filtering.
