Epic idea: Actionable cards

To ensure users are engaged and aware of all available card actions, it would be valuable if there was a way to identify and trigger actions that are easily visible and fully customizable.

This will help reduce dev time (meaning not spending as much time creating icons or tutorials for visuals that have an actionable aspect to it).

can you please merge this idea in here?

User experience should be:

1) Create a Card Visual and add additional Visual Level Filters

2) Click on the Card number will do the following:

  • apply the visual level filters as cross filter or cross highlight to other visuals on the page
  • visually highlight the number / card visual so the user sees it was selected

Please see below a workaround that demonstrates the desired behavior perfectly by User @mattkocak

This could be a good alternative to the issue I ran into recently - the inability to apply a filter directly to a button. As long as it would work with images formatted to the visual as well!
