Snowflake is super fast at running queries but PowerBI is slowing dashboards down by executing all the queries serially. Please prioritise work to fix this. This following issue about direct queries processing sequentially is related: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Direct-queries-are-processing-sequentially/idc-p/847026/highlight/true#M50664

- Tyler_EllisonNew MemberI've noticed the same thing on our dashboards. Also, the more visuals you have the more compounded it becomes. Having this implemented would take dashboards that currently can take 15-25 seconds to fully populate and put it to 1-2 seconds, like you'd want out of a report!
- Jordan_HillNew MemberThis is a huge opportunity to make Power BI a proper reporting tool for large datasets that require direct query. Must have feature.

Running into this issue as well. Where the longest running query only takes 1.2 seconds, total time of all queries (which could have been handled in parallel) is more than 9 seconds!
No need to explain the advantage of better parallel query support: just fire all queries at once!
Note: we already applied query fusion and multi-connections without the expected result.

Optimizing the Powerbi Snowflake connector needs to be completed. This request has been open for far too long.
