In Power BI Desktop, managing visuals and objects in complex reports becomes difficult when multiple layered items are involved. Currently, deleting a specific object that's buried under layers requires either:
Bringing it to the front,
Realigning surrounding objects, or
Navigating awkwardly on the canvas to select it manually.
This disrupts workflow and can lead to layout issues.
Suggested Enhancements:
Enable Direct Deletion from Selection Pane:
Right-click an object in the Selection Pane → "Delete".
No need to bring it to the front or locate it visually on the canvas.
Allow Multi-Select Deletion:
Use Ctrl/Shift to select multiple items in the Selection Pane and delete them at once.
Enable Group Deletion:
If objects are grouped, allow the group to be deleted directly from the Selection Pane with a single action.
Add right-click options: Delete, Rename, Hide, Group/Ungroup.
