Enable Buttons or Clickable Actions Inside Matrix and Table Visuals
Power BI currently supports UI buttons only at the report level (e.g., page navigation, bookmarks, drillthrough), but does not allow embedding them inside matrix or table visuals. This limits the ability to create truly interactive dashboards—especially in calendar or grid-based designs where each cell could represent a dynamic action point (e.g., register for an event, open a detailed view, update a status).
Proposed Feature:
Enable embedding of interactive elements (e.g., buttons or action triggers) inside matrix or table cells.
Support native button visuals, or allow DAX measures with action logic like navigation or bookmark triggers.
Use Cases:
Calendar dashboards with “View Details” or “RSVP” buttons per date.
Task managers with status update buttons per row.
Drillthrough actions without right-clicking.
Impact:
Greatly enhances user experience in operational dashboards.
Reduces the need for workarounds using emojis, slicers, or multiple pages.

- ShubhamPathakRegular VisitorI agree, I am trying to implement it using different tricks, but the buttons/clickable action is a must.
