Currently, Auto Page Refresh works in Power BI Desktop when using DirectQuery on a Dataflow, but it does not work after publishing the report to the Power BI Service – even in Premium workspaces.
This limitation makes it difficult to build real-time dashboards using Dataflows, even though they are refreshed frequently (e.g. via Power Automate).
Please enable Auto Page Refresh support for DirectQuery connections to Dataflows in the Power BI Service. This would allow users to build lightweight, real-time dashboards without needing to connect directly to SQL or other sources.
It would also align with the growing use of Dataflows as a central data preparation layer in enterprise environments.
