Enable AAD groups to be added to capacity management

in order to properly manage the capacity in our environment, we need two things. First we need to be able to add a group to the capacity management capability. This will allow us to manage those users who have the ability to assign capacity for workspaces in the same fashion we would do throughout our azure ecosystem. This is a best practice and is currently not supported in Fabric capacity management. next we also need to support guest users as we operate multiple tenants and do not want to create new users in every tenant. This is currently supported in Power BI admin and we would like to see it supported in Fabric capacity.

This just makes sense. We always try to manage access to a resource through groups, and then admins can manage individual access by adding users in the corresponding group.

Yes... no reason not to use this pattern here as well.

I would love to see this implemented. I dont want to be forced to handle this on an individual account basis. I would refer to have a group that I manage.

Thank you for your suggestion. We do plan to allow assignment of security groups to the capacity administrated role in the future, with potential RBAC expansion. We also intend to support adding external users as capacity administrators as well.
