This would be awesome to have ASAP. When explaining to the business the security aspects and limitations of preventing data leakage and limiting use of the Publish to Web feature, I am at a loss to explain why the suggested feature is a PowerBI tenancy option and not an O365 option.

Did anyone ever get a response on this? This is critical for my client as well! They want their reports rendered in webparts. Thanks -Don

This is pretty annoying. No feedback for months, and people are asking for updates.

Lukasz, we tried the DevScope option, however ran into functional issues and authentication challenges. The option to Publish to Private Web or having two separate web parts. One being a Tile the other being a Dashboard would be ideal. This would allow the site owners the flexibility to own the page design without having to go thru an Embedded exercise very time. Cost of development and ownership skyrocket when teams see the functionality of the PowerBI and want it in Groups, Teams, and SharePoint Online.

I cannot recommend use of this tool for our business without this capability.

'Hey Lukasz, what's the good word? I hope you guys are still moving forward with this. Maybe you guys could make it a Christmas present to all of us end users? That would be greatly appreciated. -Alex

We develop dashboards that are used by many clients who don't have SharePoint, but would like to post the dashboard to their Intranet site - it would be invaluable to have the capabilities to publish to non-SharePoint Intranet sites. Thank you.

At the bottom under 'How it works (technical details)' it states that the report definition could take up to an hour to refresh, it would be great if it updated in a more timely manner 15 minutes or so, even if it is limited to internal users only and not necessarily for public portals/sites. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-publish-to-web/

Needs to be SharePoint On-Prem too.
