I have been working on BI tools (Qlikview) for a very long time, however since the Power BI got so many features and updates for business use cases. We are moving toward Azure and Power Automate. I'm trying to migrate many dashboards to PowerBI but I am facing issue when it comes to Matrix. In finance we need customized view of table/Pivot table/Matrix.
Scenario - I have finance data for many years, now I want to show growth, but I want freedom to select the number of years in Columns (as first year won't have any comparable or growth as that is the first year but when we show variance it populate blank against first year ) and I want to control which sub header or columns should be shown in which year.
In Qlikview we can use Inline and thru expression we can control how many sub-headers would be shown in which Column. as there's no attachment option I'll give one custom visual reference.
they give an option to hide columns, and it won't be available even after extract.
