Current Situation:
- In visuals (like charts or tables), we can use formulas to dynamically change the title based on certain conditions (conditional formatting).
Requested Feature:
- Extend this capability to the column names within the visuals. This means being able to use formulas to change the names of the columns dynamically, just like you can with the titles.
Why This is Useful:
- It allows for more flexibility and customization in how data is presented.
- Users can make the visuals more informative and context-specific without manually renaming columns each time the data changes.
Example:
- Imagine you have a sales report visual. Currently, the column is named “Sales Q1”.
- With this new feature, you could set a formula that changes the column name to “Sales (Jan-Mar)” if the data is from the first quarter, or “Sales (Apr-Jun)” if it’s from the second quarter, and so on.
