- pbiideas1New MemberThis would be awesome, I really need to be able to change the name base on month data is coming from
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberAlso need this. I have measures for Fiscal Year totals named after the FY. They always sum the latest FY and need to be named according to whatever FY it currently is.

- piversNew MemberThis would be very useful. We have reporting that calculates a measure for 40 different programs, and as a result has a generic name "Count of Members". We have a visual that shows that measure, but complaints that the measure name is too generic for executives to understand. We would like to set the measure name dynamically from a list of programs so that it shows "Count signed up for program A", "Count invited to program B", etc., to make this meaningful.
- philipp_hessNew MemberTo me this seems to be a very obvious feature, very strange that this is not possible in PowerBI. This is a quite severe limitation compared to other reporting environments.

Dynamic measure name
To declare the name of a measure in power bi, the user must assign a string as follows: Crimes 2022 = countrows(table_crimes).
however, in power bi you could have the option of assigning the name of the measure associated with a variable, example: Crimes & [year_current] so the name would be automatically assigned Crimes 2023, and whenever the year changed the name of the measure would be changed.
Currently the power bi has this shortcoming
Thank you very much!

Qlik Sense has it. I don't understand why PowerBI doesn't. It's critical in order to make understandable the name of the measure and give the PowerBI app a better look&feel. Come on, you've already late!
