Dynamic hierarchies

Allowing a set of categories, visualised through for example buttons, to be interactively changed in the visualisation. The order of these categories determine the hierarchy in the visual (e.g. matrix). In this way the "Pivot" hierarchy functionality can be replicated into Power BI.

This is a drawback for us trying to deliver similar functionality to Spotfire, which gives users the ability to dynamically select which category values / dimensions go into Rows or Columns. We can already use a SWITCH measure to control visibility of measures in the Values section. If we had a SWITCH for rows or SWITCH for columns, which would then allow the matrix to be fully flexible to user selection, that would be awesome! That way we can move away from Excel pivots, which can be slow if connected to a Power BI dataset.
