There are many scenarios where it is useful to switch the filters or measure a calculation item applies according to a condition or user selection. Unfortunately there is no way alter the name of a calculation item to reflect a change in what it is evaluating. Being able to use a DAX measure to make a calculation items display name dynamic would be incredibly useful and widen the possible applications for calculation groups!

Calculation Groups allow the ability to create Calculated Items but the labels need to be dynamic. I want to display the Max(Date[Year]). Instead of CY for current year, which might be the Calculation Item name, when the context is 2022, it should show 2022. Thus PY for previous year would be replaced with 2021, and PY-2 would be replaced with 2020.
If someone changed a slicer to 2021, then CY should change to 2021, PY to 2020 and PY-2 to 2019.
Thus the legend would update if someone changes the slicer. I have created a calculated column in the PBIX file but can't seem to figure out how to use that column in some Expression for the Name.
