Dynamic Data Refresh in PowerBI Service

Hi Power BI Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to start by saying that I’m a huge fan of Power BI! I’ve been using the platform for two consecutive years and have seen tremendous success with it, delivering impactful results for my company.

However, I’m reaching out because I’ve encountered a significant challenge with the Power BI Service regarding the inability to schedule a refresh for datasets containing dynamic data. I recently completed a critical dashboard for my company, which pulls data from an Online SharePoint list. 

Despite adjusting the queries to replace the dynamic function with static data as a workaround, this hasn’t resolved the issue. I’ve been manually refreshing the report on Power BI Desktop and republishing it for over a month now, which is very time-consuming.

I understand from various forums that many users are facing similar issues with dynamic data and scheduled refreshes in Power BI Service. This is becoming a roadblock, as I have several other reports to develop, and dynamic data is integral to those as well.

I would greatly appreciate it if your team could look into this limitation. A solution to this would be immensely helpful for me and many others in the Power BI community.
