For many reports, the primary intended interaction is for users to click on a specific data point to drill down. However, the current default requires users to first find and click the 'Turn on Drill down' arrow in the visual header before they can perform this action.
This creates an unnecessary extra step and a point of friction, especially for business users who may not be familiar with the interface.
Please introduce a toggle in the Format Visual > Visual header pane, such as 'Drill Mode On by Default'. Enabling this would load the visual with the selective drill-down mode already activated, creating a more intuitive and seamless experience for all users.
