I like the new sidebar (for Workspaces) and the tabs/topbar at the top for Items.
Sometimes I just want to open the "home" of a Workspace.
Currently, I have to click it in the sidebar, then a menu pops up and I have to find it in the menu.
It would be nicer if I could just double-click the Workspace in the sidebar.
It could even be a "fake double-click" in that the first click opens the menu and if you click the same Workspace icon in the sidebar again after the menu has been activated, you go to the home of the Workspace.
Yes, I know that this doesn't save a ton of time/annoyance but it would make the interface better for when you need to switch back and forth between multiple workspaces.
