Power BI will extend a continuous X axis well beyond the actual maximum value in the data automatically. For instance, my data goes up to 2022 but Power BI is drawing in the axis to 2040 automatically.
I DO NOT want Power BI to waste space by default. This is misleading...it SHOULD NOT extend the axis to encompass dates that don't even exist in my model without asking me.
At the very least give me a global option to disable this, and also a local disable in the formatting pane.
