DocumentDB SELECT *

When you issue SELECT * FROM.... for a collection on documentDB it doesn't return all the document fields to choose from for reporting. I know this is probably hard due to its schema-less nature but the Azure Query Explorer returns all data. I wonder if there's a way around this...?
