Display total value of a bar on a stacked bar chart

Stacked bar charts already display the value of each section of a bar, but there isn't a way to display the total value of each bar, which would include all the sections.

This would be brilliant. If, in some way, we would be able to display the sales of each brand pr. sales channel, and then display the total sales across brands pr. sales channels, in the same chart.... That would make the whole thing a lot more interesting.

In line with that suggestion - if we could sort a stacked chart based on the totals rather than one element - that would make it far more useful as well. 🙂

Definitely needed. The only workaround is to put another chart behind it with just the totals or a stacked bar with line chart which looks ugly with the lines going across the bars.

There's a workaround for stacked column & line chart: Make the chart show the total value as the line. Then show the line's data labels and make the line transparent. There is no work around for the bar chart. This is a necessary feature.

This would be a really useful feature, currently I have to use a line to display the total values which is a work around but not ideal.

I'm suprised this isn't getting more attention. Especially in a sorting situation the chart often becomes less usable due to the inability to sort by the total ammount.

How did this get missed for the June update? This would be a simple yet huge addition....

This feature is much needed, seems like it would be easy to add.

Agree, this feature would be great! Is there a work around?!
