Hi Community,
I've been facing a significant issue with the Display Units feature within Power BI's Tables or Matrices. When dealing with large numbers ranging from the tens to billions, I frequently use tables and matrices to visualize my data.
However, the major drawback is the lack of an "Auto" display unit for number columns. Currently, I have to manually format each number column to a specific display unit, such as Millions, despite having numbers in the billions and thousands.
For instance, a number like 15.1Bn appears as 15 100 Millions, which is quite unreadable. The same applies to thousands and other units; for example, 20K shows up as 0.0 Million.
This limitation is particularly frustrating for data analysts who often work with large datasets. It would greatly enhance the user experience if Power BI had an "Auto" feature available for number columns within tables and matrices, allowing the display to automatically adapt to the appropriate unit based on the value being shown.
Thank you very much for considering this suggestion.
