The query editor only has two options "Apply Now", and "Apply Later". What if I've messed up my query and never want to apply the changes? Please bring back the ability to discard changes made during the time the query editor was open

- christopher_la1New MemberVery important request/feature!!
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberYes its crazy that 1 year after GA and we still don't have undo or even Discard in the Query Editor. Instead I have to constantly drop in and out of that window and Save the whole file after each query change, to have a rollback point. I tend to edit queries in a parallel Excel workbook to avoid this, then copy and paste their scripts across - but that is also painful.
- amanismathersNew MemberAgreed this is very needed!!

Yes, this is a needed option. The discard option needs to be added to ALL of the dialog boxes and prompts in power bi desktop, that currently ask to save or apply pending changes. - mbkrishna04New MemberYou just remove the steps that you want to discard in applied steps.
- allan_bondNew MemberYes! How hard would it be to add a "Close without saving changes" option?
- karenfornos_kleNew MemberIt is really unbelievable that has been here for 1 year now!
- karenfornos_kleNew MemberI REALLY need ths!
- alexisolson1New MemberThis is available in Excel. It would be great if Power BI had this functionality as well.
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberThis is painful, so straightforward in Excel.
