Discard Query Changes

The query editor only has two options "Apply Now", and "Apply Later". What if I've messed up my query and never want to apply the changes? Please bring back the ability to discard changes made during the time the query editor was open

Please fix this, if we accidentally load a huge table then we have to wait until it gets loaded and delete it . This would save a lot of time.

I can't believe this still isn't an option. Hope it gets escalated.

Got into this endless loop by renaming a table inside "Edit Query". Shouldn't have done that. Now I can't undo the rename, can't drop the table, can't Not Apply. Can't do anything. Have not backup of my report either so I will probably loose a days work when recreating the whole report.

Discard Query Changes: This is horrible...If there is an issue with your query, you are screwed. You guys need to fix this issue. If my computer crashes and you have to recover your file. Once again it tries to run all the queries, How many times I had to start over because you couldn't provide this very basic step. I think a high school dev could figure out a solution. I loss hours of work because of this issue. You changed the interface which was not necessary, but a simple fix to make things better isn't done. Are you trying to frustrate people?

This feature is requested so often, why won't Microsoft listen?

Hy this is a solution that worked for me: You must go to query editor and delete the wrong query from there, https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Please-apply-or-discard-the-pending-query-changes-and-then-try/m-p/574107#M271209
