Disable share buttons

Option to disable the share buttons (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and share itself) in the embed code. I am using the embed code to post the report in a sharepoint page with in the company by this would prevent a public sharing.

New to the forum and Power BI, but it seems that a lot of the control for Power BI is in the hands of the administrators, such as the ability to turn off data export functions for reports. If and when you implement these functions such as disabling the share links, make them under the control of the people making the reports, if necessary give the administrators and override, but in general leave the choice with the developer. Global settings are not the answer, there is a need to determine appropriate behaviors on a report by report basis.

I agree. We need control over the options presented. We need the ability to disable the Share button.

PowerBi is a great tool, but things like the Share button and overall lack of security keep me from advocating this tool over other products. Please have an option like "Enterprise Publish" where those share buttons are removed.

Great Idea. ... this is a very dangerous feature, considering that we could need to manage restricted information within dashboard

We have the same issue. Once the report is embedded, it can be shared from the user circumventing SharePoint credentials. It is a major data breach issue. Disabling the sharing options would allow us to embed the reports on internal pages and restrict public sharing.

Share option is making us lose the security of the contents to social media. Please help us remove this share option.

Yoh! Yoh! Yoh! The social media sharing options on the embedded code are dangerous. I tested sharing it with few people on FB and Twitter and they could see the dashboard just like that! Everything! No issues! This must go!

Crikey MS... permissions and restrictions in Sharepoint 2016 prevent sharing/resharing of pages and documents - great.... ... but then with a Power BI Dashboard embedded in script editor webpart.. there are no control over these twitter, linkedin links... in particular, users with Read-only access to a sharepoint site can 'Share By Email' to anyone !! All these 'link' options on Power BI should configurable in Power BI by end-users and allowed to be overridden in Sharepoint 2016 with a default 'off' option within properties of script editor web part - quickly!! Otherwise Microsoft, large companies will not be able to use Power BI, and potential not use Sharepoint 2016 for portals It's a big shot-in-the-foot MS!!
