We have a dataset based on a DirectQuery to SQL server and it stopped updating recently. The last automatic update was on Nov 9th. When viewing a Dashboard, it stopped updating regularly. Now I have to go to the dataset and right click "Refresh Now" or open the mobile app and pull down to "sync" the dashboard. I have confirmed the Gateway is online (obviously since manual refresh works)

- joe30New MemberI can confirm this is still occurring. I can also confirm that only my account can perform the manual dataset refresh. Another power bi account that I have shared the dashboard with is not able to refresh it. This leads to a quick SMS message 'hey, can you refresh the data'. You can imagine how old that gets. I have also tried to update my powerbi desktop client to the last version and republished the dataset, but that didn't fix the issue.
