It would be great if there would be an extra option available for Legend under Position, called Direct. This would enable direct labeling a line or bar chart. With direct labeling I mean removing the traditional legend and placing the category text directly near the line of bar. An example can be found here: https://depictdatastudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Depict-Data-Studio_Remove-Legends-and-Label-Data-Directly.jpg

- matthias_hufnagNew MemberFor design reasons, we try to avoid assigning colors to different lines. We opted for a grey scale. Colors always suggest meaning to users and as we have a complex dashboard with a huge number of brands and items, we can't color items consistently anyway. Therefore, it is hard to guess from the legend which line stands for what. It would be great to have the option to assign the label of each series directly beneath the associated line in a chart. We managed to do something like that by putting a xy chart beside the line graph. We build one with basically a x-Axis of length 0, and an y value that corresponds to the last x-value of the line chart, so that the labels somehow look like they are at the end of each corresponding line. But if lines are close together it quickly becomes ugly.
