Different Slicers and Date Hierarchy cause significant delay in Loading

I have created several reports that use the attribute slicer as well as the date drill down features. When I run locally on Desktop, they run smoothly, however, when I publish to to my workspace and share, the visuals load at a snail pace. Any thoughts?

Sorry i should have been more clear. Does this happen with all your Excel files? The reason i ask is i have been using the attribute slicer custom visual on Excel files and not noticed performance degradation. So wondering if it specific to the specific data 'shape' of your Excel file. thanks, Chuck
