The desktop and PowerBI service does not follow the same date time zone. Because of this, the PowerBI service displays wrong data to end users.
If the desktop displays correct values during Development phase, when deployed to PowerBI service, the report displays wrong values in PowerBI Service.
As an alternative, if the date is fixed to display correctly in PowerBI service to make it convenient for end users, then it does not display correct values in Desktop making it difficult for Developers to test data during build phase.
Is there a solution where in the PowerBI service can display same values as Desktop version always and allows us to choose the required time zone.
