Delegated admin for Power BI

Currently there is no possibility to get delegated admin rights for Power BI. This is a must have especially for smaller companies as they rely on external (Power) BI knowledge. They can give delegated admin rights for O365 and should be able to do so for Power BI also

yes. this is a necessary feature. Until this is made part of the tool, IT admin will be hesitant to share content with many enterprise users. Moreover it removes the hassle of owning O365 admin and Power BI admin in a single place/person.

I agree. PowerBI is managed outside IT for the most part for us. specific PowerBI Admin would be useful

I am the key user of PBI in our organization. As important, I'm responsible for training clients in the tool. There is no way at all that our IT Admin will give me global admin rights so I am blocked permanently from this critical functionality. Having Admin rights for JUST PBI is the only way that I will ever be able to access this functionality. This is critical.

my department is responsible by powerBI. however, we don´t have admin rights. We need follow usage from our publicateds dashboards

An O365 administrator has no interest in Power BI whatsoever. They just manage IT systems. 'Administrative' rights must be able to be assigned to specific Power BI users that actually oversee Power BI rollouts.

Agreed! Admin rights for Power BI separate from 0365 admin rights is a must have. I am tasks as Administration of Power BI but have nothing to do with anything else in our tenant. there fore I am denied 0365 Admin rights. So I am stuck asking people who don't understand Power BI to do the Administration for me. These must be a separate role just like exchange or other services in the tenant.

Being able to capture user experience is everything from a mobile and cloud perspective. The success and adoption of this platform for an enterprise scenario needs to know how to measure their success, and right now the platform does not provide a way to clearly accomplish this task.

This is a must, I can't believe Microsoft did not anticipate the need for delegated administration for Power BI. There is significant frustration in our business that we can't enable the Power BI team to self-administer their service.
