Default measure format to comma and zero decimals

Every time I create a measure I have to format it as “,” and 0 decimals. This appears to be the most common format and it would make sense to make this the default.

It would be better to be able to set your own default format, rather than be stuck with anyone else's idea of the most common format.

I get after my developers when they don't put this in, but I have to agree it should be the default...!!!! It was a good chuckle on a Friday that a lot of others hate this too! Please fix!

Formatting depends on the data type. The default for Decimal type should be culture-specific thousand separator with two decimals The default for Whole Number should be culture-specific thousand separator with no decimals

Maybe we need a shortcut!

I see a button "post a comment" (lead to here) and another one that says "needs votes" and does nothing. Where do I vote?

I agree. We need an option to set the default format for numbers with a comma (or the default thousands separator set at the OS level), and 0 decimal points. for all old and new PBIX files.
