Date Slicer does not default to latest date

Between Date slicer should get the default to latest date as it worked before.

Agreed. I need to open every desktop workbook that uses this slicer, refresh all reports, manually move the end date of every single slicer in every single report and then republish each so that users don't need to manually move each slicer themselves. This is a massive inconvenience, inefficient, and a very poor design. Please address this.

Ridiculous that this is not fixed yet! Somebody posted this in Fabric Community. I think it works! 1. Set the style your date filter visual from a "between" to a "vertical list" 2. Once it is a vertical list click on the ... and "sort descending" 3. Save your pbix file 4. Now you can change the Style of the date filter back to a "between" and since the default behavior of the visual item is now 'sort descending' it will always show the newest date when the underlying data is refreshed.

Any news about this idea?

Yes! I have spent countless hours on this issue, which seems like it should be the overwhelming normal need for users.
